This week was equally interesting, I was out every night of the week… fuck! With not much to say this week, there will be a video recap from Friday night that I thought was a lot of fun.
BTW, the two band were “2 Colors” and “Forrest Raymond and the Gnarly Cactus”
As this project unfolds I’m learning more and more about telling a story with limited photos. It’s hard… thankfully with internet and such I have the ability to post videos. I know its a jump back, but…we called out another crew in the cyphers. They’re rockin a similar… who’s been established longer.. hands down us! So we decided to test their skills. We also ended up gettin at em first round for the prelims of the comp… peep game yo!
I have tons of photos from a “Jersey Shore” themed birthday party, with the intention to leave the dirty and trashy off of facebook. Instead I have posted it here….. Keep in mind, this is the one party you can be a douche bag at… yes even I partook in being a douche bag beyond just my costume for about 10 minutes. Okay, maybe longer into the night.. but the pictures definitely do the party some justice.
If you don’t find humor in these photos…. something is wrong with you!
The 4th week thus far… it’s been interesting to say the least but do we really want to see me at parties all year round? I don’t… I’m thinking of themes I can hopefully use for the following months, but in reality this project is meant to follow my life so… who cares what it is I’m doing… it shouldn’t matter.. it is a documentation of a point in time.
BTW, I’m making another custom seat! see my funny sloppy shop styles photo below!
I don’t want to only post the 52 weeks project, in doing so I will keep you all updated with various things as always. This post was a snippet of the band that was playing at Contstantine’s house party. It’s hard with only 7 pictures to post per week, although I’ve added a few more, narrowing down the actual 7 for the publication will be interesting.
52 weeks is a photography project which I will be conducting with my friends. It is similar doing 365 pictures for the year but I don’t think I’d find something interesting everyday and my weekends are definitely fun. Instead we’ll have 7 photos per week and compile them into a printed book.
Little needs to be said about New Years Eve… especially when you’re party hopping.. Enjoy the pictures. I think they speak for themselves…
To explain the mess.. I started out on Ashbury and Haight at a house party. Spun some recs with the wonderful Miss Crix. Swooped up Ross at his house. Jumped to Jeff’s House party for the countdown. Went to Ross’ friend’s party in South City. Then ended up at Namu, where my friends got kicked out LOL DENIED! Lastly ended it at my new Apartment!
Here are some of my favorites, peep the full photo set on my flickr account!
