Quinceanera: Ensenada, Mexico

Ensenada, Mexico was the last stop on my 3 week vacation. Pictures from the first two stops (Taipei and Hong Kong) will be posted erratically as I get around to editing them… BTW I went to celebrate a Quinceanera!

Here’s my Recap: Jet-lag, good food, weird sites, huge drinks!, staying on a ranch, Quinceanera, dancing, booze, La Bufadora, Mexican Zebra, Border Patrol, 2 hour wait, Missed flight home… But now I’m back!

Hong Kong, China

On my second stop of my traveling overseas, I made a stop in Hong Kong, China. These photos sum up the fun I had in China! It was great, I’d love to go back again next year. Peter and I had won our battles at the Redbull Cypher Jam, which puts in the HK finals, to qualify for Red Bull BC One Asia Finals. Too bad I had to come back to the states. Next time I’ll plan it out way better… Below are pictures from practice, shopping, visiting the big Buddha, and the Sai Kung district.

Taipei, Taiwan

I visited Taipei for 7 days, from February 9th until the 16th. It was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on! I met many memorable people and experienced some amazing street food. The hardest part about this trip was that I had contracted food poisoning right before my flight out to Taipei. With my stubborness in full effect, I fought through the food poisoning and sat through a 14 hour flight to hong kong, connecting to Taipei. The pictures don’t do enough justice regarding what i saw out in Taipei!

I traveled out to Taipei, to compete in a B-Boy jam called, Culture Shock Vol. 3. This was Yorrick’s 3rd culture shock and last one, on top of that it was huge! I took part in the 1-on-1′s and made it to the semi-finals, out of 140 contestants! I lost to B-Boy Born, of Rivers Crew/Floor Gangz from Seoul, Korea. It was an honer battling him, as he won the 1-on-1 competition. I’ll be back next year!

On to Hong Kong next…
